They say whenever a person is dying, they see a light at the end of a tunnel which represents death. I never did quite understand what was meant by that. I'd find myself asking questions like, "Doesn't light usually represent life, and a dark void act as death? If so, how does walking into that light mean death?" However, as I lie wounded from the field of battle, I think I have finally began to understand a little. That light is a kind of peace that comes with an eternal slumber, an escape from the hell that is war: no more bloodshed nor any suffering. "Ivellios, come in!" came a shout from Chou over the radio.
"Sir, this is Ivellios. I'm almost back to the jeep now, just give me a minute."
"No need, both Eli and I have different orders. I'm to take him to the tank squadron so that he can help on the front lines. The messenger will be waiting for you on the south end of town to take you to the barracks. There you will suit up and meet me at the enemies left flank, understood?" came his orders, loud and clear.
"Yes, sir!" I replied while heading to my new destination. Luckily it wouldn't be a long run since I was closer to that en Chapter 4

Since I forgot to do this after uploading chapter 4 and rewriting chapter 3, here's the newest update. I am in the works of finishing chapter 5, but there are two separate ways I can take this story with this chapter. I've been trying to decide for a little while now which way to take it, and I think I've reached a decision, so I'm hoping to have at least the rough draft up sometime between now and Friday.
